About the event

Prairie Comeau, it's two artist-creators who have only one constraint : to cover songs that date from before 1960. Together, they draw a line in time, a thread that reminds us that we are made of past and present.

Anique Grangeris a singer-songwriter with 4 albums to her credit. She is also a podcaster. His most recent project, The Tape of the Cassette, plunges the listener into the heart of an encounter, a story and the creative process that leads to a song. Passionate about the guitar, she dreams of having chickens in the yard. Whatever she prefers to grow vegetables, she also plants flowers, to please her boyfriend.

Benoit Archambaulthas been writing songs for young and old for over 20 years. He is also the author of a series of children's novels (Les quatre saisons de Benoit Archambault), illustrator of books on the history of Quebec for the whole family (Quand est ce qu'on arrive_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b- 136bad5cf58d_? volumes 1 and 2) and director. A member of Mes Aïeux, Benoit dreams of one day winning a curling championship. Pianist-more and more guitarist, he also plays the accordion, to please his girlfriend.

In 2020, the duo launched a first album which earned them a series of shows in Quebec and Saskatchewan. They are currently preparing their next set of new old songs, more precisely rooted in the repertoire of good song.
